Baleia Extra Virgin Olive Oil Director’s Blend

Planted in the year 2008 with the aim of creating an Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed Oil to preserve the flavours and characteristics of the FS17, Frantoio and Coratina olives used. This delicate olive oil has distinctive aromas of green tomatoes and artichokes with a hint of lemon freshness. It is well balanced, has a buttery and smooth finish with a hint of black pepper. A pleasant bitterness reminiscent of the high antioxidant content.

Our Director’s Blend is a selection from our intense Coratina block (90%), that shows strong varietal characteristics producing a more intense style.We then tone down the “edges” by blending in 10% Frontoio to create balance and elegance.
